The 7 Types of People You See Out in the City on a Friday Night

1. The Post-Work Soldiers

http://planyourmeetings.com/2013/11/27/holidays-and-work-double-trouble-ahead/Either mentally drained from a rough week of work, or buzzed and exhilarated with celebratory vibes after a successful week in the office, you will certainly spot these types of people from one side of George ST to the other side of the Cross. Usually roaming in packs of 4-8, wearing cooperate attires, and usually doing their best to become the rowdy ones in the clubs, a Friday Night in the city is the essential therapy to end the week.

2. The Backpackers

http://www.jbguesthouse.com/?page_id=12Always the one starting 5 different conversations with random locals in the street, the backpackers will not hesitate to receptively ask the same old question, 'Where is the iconic Sydney Club?'. Not knowing that Sydney City is home to many social clubs, whether for the classy, or the rowdy ones. Always first to stand out in the crowd with their foreign looks, or causally dressing accordingly to their weathers back home, these types of people will certainly be spotted, or even find their way having a good talk with you, on any Friday nights.

3. The 'Fakie' Clan

http://i.ytimg.com/vi/3eRBFkxgG7g/hqdefault.jpgOkay, so what if you're meant to be in bed by now, and not wearing the shorts your mum said not to wear, or even drinking like it's Oktoberfest, and of course looking 12. Be sure to see these types of people hassling the streets of Kings Cross like a 4 year old in a toy store. Usually wearing the least amount of clothing possible, be sure to not express your inner devils amongst these young angles, let the bouncers do their jobs.

4. The 'Im Feeling Young' Army

http://goodmenproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/nine-sure-signs-clubbing-days.jpgSometimes, you just have to stop, and show love and respect to these people. Partying harder and sometimes crazier than most young club heads, these 40-60 year old men/women surely see themselves living their lifetime longer. Constantly alone at  bars and clubs, and dancing conservatively by the DJ, be sure to not hysterically laugh or tease them, just another should ready to live it up a little in Sydney!

5. The Pizza Guy

Constantly harassed, and pranked, but focused on their one job (delivering the pizzas). Mad respect.

6. The Dazzled Homeless Man

http://www.businessinsider.com.au/north-dakotas-rich-yet-homeless-residents-2011-10Don't judge a book by it's cover, just stay quiet and listen to the story. Friday nights is a time for stage performers, AND the homeless, to express their hidden, entertaining talents. Whether it'd be story telling, or singing, and maybe having a little spotlight moment on the dance stage (on the pathways) free entertainment can be experienced from any corner of the city block.

7. The Fitness Freak

Always ready to dodge any durnk ones, and avoid any crazy taxis driving intensely on the roads, these nighttime olympians will jog and cycle to end their week.

The 7 Types of People You See at a House Party

1.       The Photographer

Don’t worry if you go a bit overboard on the bourbon and cokes and can’t remember most of the night, this person’s 300 second snapchat story or 14 Instagram posts will remind you (whether you want it to or not). This person spends half the night with their eye on their phone and gathering people together for group photos to prove to everyone that their night has been better than yours.

2.       The Gamer

Before the party has even started, this person has set up beer pong and king’s cup before the party has even started. They can’t relax and have a drink without making a competition out of it. They spend half the night rallying teammates and explaining all the rules that they play by, because if you aren’t playing their way, are you even playing at all?

3.       The Dancer

Good luck having a conversation with this person at any point in the night. This person must have Red Bull flowing through their veins because from the moment the music starts until that last bass drop they are dancing, and dancing hard.

4.     The Emotional Rollercoaster

Think of all of the Emoji’s, now slap each of these on someone’s face within the space of 4 hours. Highs and lows, laughs and cries, this person will show it all. One drink can be the difference between dancing the night away, and crying about dropping a sausage roll on the floor because ‘it deserved so much better’.

5.       The Flirt

What are these standards you speak of? This person will hit on anything and everything at the party, whether it is well received or not. Every glance across the party is a search for the latest target (or maybe victim is the most appropriate term).

6.       The Smoker

These types of people often congregate in groups a couple meters away from the meat of the party, mostly because they respect the other party goers’ wishes to not inhale all the second hand smoke they puff out of their bodies.

7.       The Deso

The designated driver is taking one for the team, saving a few lives and a few long, drunk walks back home. This person is the hero of the night.
